Sean Ellis is an American entrepreneur, author, and growth marketing expert, best known for coining the term “growth hacking.” Born on December 14, 1973, he has played pivotal roles in the growth strategies of several high-profile tech companies, including Dropbox, Eventbrite, and LogMeIn. Ellis is the founder and CEO of GrowthHackers.com, a community and platform dedicated to growth marketing.

He gained significant recognition for his bestselling book Hacking Growth: How Today’s Fastest-Growing Companies Drive Breakout Success (2017), co-authored with Morgan Brown. The book details the growth strategies employed by successful companies and has been translated into multiple languages, selling over 750,000 copies worldwide.
