Sean Covey is an American author, educator, and business executive, born on September 17, 1964. He is best known for his work in leadership and personal development, particularly as the co-author of the bestselling book The 4 Disciplines of Execution: Achieving Your Wildly Important Goals (2012), alongside Chris McChesney and Jim Huling. This book focuses on effective strategies for executing organizational goals and has sold over 500,000 copies.

Covey is also the President of FranklinCovey Education, where he leads initiatives aimed at transforming educational practices through principle-centered leadership. He oversees the Leader in Me program, which aims to foster leadership skills in students and has been implemented in thousands of schools worldwide.
He is the author of several other influential books, including The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens, which adapts the principles from his father Stephen R. Covey’s famous work for a younger audience. This book has sold millions of copies and has been translated into multiple languages.
