
Robert Greene
Robert Greene, born on May 14, 1959, in Los Angeles, California, is an American author known for his books on strategy, power, and seduction. He studied classical studies at the University of California, Berkeley, and later graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Before becoming a full-time writer, Greene worked a variety of jobs, including as a construction worker, translator, and magazine editor.
Greene’s career took a significant turn when he joined Fabrica, an art and media school in Italy, where he met book packager Joost Elffers. Together, they developed the concept for his first book, The 48 Laws of Power, published in 1998. This book became a bestseller and has been translated into multiple languages, establishing Greene as a leading voice in contemporary discussions about power dynamics.
